We have more than 55 species of wood in stock, ready for hand crafting into a ring, especially for you. Our woods are sourced from re-used timber, or fallen trees. Often used and popular materials in stock include maple, mahogany, walnut, cedar, birch, aspen, ash, oak, hickory, and hemlock. That’s just for starters…
We also have some ancient timber samples as well, for special order rings. These woods have been “harvested” from waterlogged timbers which have been resting on the bottom of Lake Superior for more than a century. As original growth timber, they offer a breathtaking grain that is much different from commercially produced lumber. Growth rings are remarkably tight, and as such, create a distinctive ring that is available only from Bojt Studios.
